Morning opens quietly,
As I open my eyes and see your sweet face.
You reach over to me and hold me in your arms of your
Gentle embrace.
We go about our routine,
As the morning sun feels so serene.
I put on the coffee to brew,
You wrap your arms around me,
And softly whisper in my ear "I love you."
Watching the morning news,
Not listening...I'm daydreaming thoughts of you.
As I'm getting dressed for work,
I notice that look you give me; it's that cute, loving smirk.
As we walk out the door to begin our day,
I think to myself: "our love is here to stay."
In the car as you are driving, you reach over
To hold my hand, and say you love me,
You're my lover and forever my BEST friend.
The sun rises high in the sky,

Quietly I say a prayer, and kiss you softly,
